Well Gang, after two weeks and 30 trips i decided to diversify my options by joining Lyfts. After considerable reading on the internet and reading the blog of the Ridesharing guy(Harry), it just seems smart to drive for both outfits. Lyfts is more laidback, provides tip options in their app. and is accepted at the airport as who ever is nearest. Tired of waiting at the Uber FIFO area(one hour today in the mid morning) and getting no pings. What say those more experienced ridesharing experts out there about driving for Uber & Lyfts?
Your experience, outcomes and stories are appreciated by us newbies.

Lyft is nice, they pay a little more and the pax seem better. I get tipped on probably 50% of my rides. Days the Uber is slow Lyft tends to be good. Did I mention they pay better? The problem with lyft is you WILL get pings as far away as 30 mins out but just keep in mind... if the ping is more than 5-7 mins from you don't take it.

Sidewazzz, is there a way of seeing the place your rider is requesting pickup before you accept? My Lyft mentor and the company mention they frown upon canceling you Pax once you accept? I am still waiting for my background acceptance.

Yes pass on those long distance LYFT requests but know that all your driver XTRAs (90 & 100% pay outs of income + referrals) are based on a 90% acceptance. The XTRA pay are based on impossible goals so you'll be at 80% like UBER but will get more tips, unlike Screwber where they collect your tips but don't pay you on them...lol
