Uber bill passed the Maryland Assembly.

Highlights:

7 Year Federal/State/Local Background Check
Uber will become the primary insurance from ride acceptance though finishing ride.
Annual safety inspection.

Effective July 1st 2015 if Govenor Hogan signs.

they already have been primary insurance from ride acceptance
still have to worry about app on coverage for folks who havent gotten at least hybrid insurance yet

When I joined, they said Uber was secondary from Acceptance to Pickup.
