Uber is recalculating fares...

And stealing a dollar...8>O

Happened to me the other day...

On a $30.00 fare...

Uber recalcukated it down by a buck...

Then subtracted the buck...

From my running ledger...

Uber supports response to this...

What ride?

..twice...

Then...oh we checked and...

Tbe Fare is calculated correctly...

At the NEW amount...one dollar less...

Where the he$$ is my fricking dollar...???

That adds up...but...

Look at the -1.21 figure...

They OVERPAID ME????

Yeah, I’ve been keeping a close eye on this shyt too, I’ve noticed a couple times they charge me for cashing out at the end of the night, then I’m -50 in the morning... uhh no double dipping fools, I’ve called them on it so many times I now take pics every time ..

I never used Instant Pay. I figured that if I had gotten a "normal" job I would have been paid once a week or every two weeks, so I just went with that. Plus, in the beginning I had the rental, so had to make sure $ was in there to cover that.

I also never used the gas card. Not theirs, anyway. I always looked at it as "The Company Store". And, sure enough, there were problems with them not deducting a little bit for months and then hitting drivers for it all at once.

Yes, only do weekly deposits if possible. Also, keep a ledger/log of all your weekly deposits, number of rides, number of hours, tips, etc. It comes in handy. I've been doing this since I started 28 months ago and I refer to those records at least once a month for a variety of reasons. Add whatever other stats you want. Treat it as a full time business even if you only part time it.

I've been noticing this as well for about the last week. I was very suspicious as well but then I realized if they wanted to cheat they could just as easily take it out before showing it to me at all.

I recently saw this with a fare which came up $52.xx but after the recalulation about an hour later it was $49.xx.

My theory is they put the amount there as an estimate and then recalculate it later. If you drove more efficiently than they thought you would then it results in a decrease. Of course they very well could be stealing too. I'm not ruling that out with them. They aren't ethical.

..twice... THAT's NOTHING . UBER MADE TWO TRIPS I COMPLETED DISSAPEAR THE NEXT DAY . KEEP A SEPERATE RECORD OF YOUR TRIPS .

I rent a car and buy gasoline from a literal company store to drive a taxi...

never have a problem that 5 minutes in a mangers office can't solve.

And they pay me cash at the end of every shift.... NO CHARGE DAILY PAY.

People getting these problems just... wow...

if the money was ever equal, i'd still drive a taxi as it would take a lot less BS every week to fix everything.
