Why some driver wants to join Pandora??? Only because customers can play their music. I am not going to signup this. Will you???

Uber would be getting commission on every sign up & probably take fee out of earnings to use the service in the future.. Drivers get sucked in for free meal, sign up, forget to cancel & later fee's are charged to use it

Drive for nothing soon turning into drive to pay for all the crap we scam you into unwittingly use

Not disagreeing with that, but they're not making money from the drivers at this stage. Its free to sign up, no credit card required. So no possible payment from the drivers side. Plus I won't be paying a cent for this feature, purely as its a data hog to start with, secondly cause I'm not paid enough to pay for crap like this.

Now what Uber/Pandora have worked out between them, who knows. Maybe its just a way to get users over to Pandora from say Apple Music, based on that they can listen to 'tunes' in the uber.....

If a pax askes me if I have Pandora I will simply tell them it chews up to match data so the short answer is "NO"
I bet the pax who want it will be the ones around Chapel St who only want to go 1km up the road.

A friend on FB who drives posted that on Sat night in Melb he got a ping from nightclub in Collingwood. When he arrived 3 people got in asked for water & mints, then got out & told driver to end ride.. $5 per bottle of water in the club & $6.00 for 3 bottles from the Uber driver !!! because that was what the minimum fare was

He doesn't carry water anymore now
