"Based on these calculations, it's possible to estimate that Uber drivers in late 2015 earned approximately $13.17 per hour after expenses in the Denver market (which includes all of Colorado), $10.75 per hour after expenses in the Houston area, and $8.77 per hour after expenses in the Detroit market, less than any earnings figure previously released by the company."
Uber counts hourly pay based on when you are logged in. We can't go to the bathroom, eat, get gas, or clean our cars while giving rides. And you may turn off your app and have an hour drive back home after your last ride but that time is not counted towards your hourly rate because you're not logged in.
this was on CBS today now.... I watch the news online. I would say you combine this story with the all of the sneaky ping selection they are doing with the hourly guarantee vs the metals and we have the ball rolling against uber - at least to the public eye... maybe I should contact CBS LA...
