So here's one for all you having a dig at drivers with exec cars on uber x... I received an email a couple of months ago prompting me I would soon be legible as an exec member providing me with info about what car would be needed and so on.. so I gave notice on my current car and got myself an e class, spent money on some smart clothes etc all excited and all of that to get a response saying sorry we're not taking on any more exec drivers but will keep you in mind. I've signed a three month contract on the car and am slightly angry to say the least. Clearly they are trying to offer exec service on uber x for of us drivers to pay the price for... I'm seriously considering contacting the press.. you can't treat people that way it's outrageous. Looking for other companies I'm on a 4.9 rating and offer excellent service, not sure I want uber to benefit from that seeing what they offer in return. Not cool.

It's not nice from your partner,isn't it? But the net has been full of similar stories for long time. And again and again. Always the same scenario. The driver is squeezed like lemon. And you and many others fall into their trap. It begs belief in this century.
On the other side, your customers loved it. Being driven in new merc and pay bus fares for it. And it cost uber just couple of email lullabies.
Hope it won't make you angry with bc. I feel little bit sorry for you but you have mainly yourself to blame. The info was out there.

Even if you were accepted on Exec, you would still have to accept X jobs.
The ratio of X to Exec jobs you'll be given will probably be in the ratio of 10 to 1, or thereabouts.
So you'll probably end up earning an extra maybe £10-£15 a day, whereas more could be saved just by driving a 5 -year old Prius doing X work only.
Unless you look for other Exec firms to work for, and/or (preferably and) get yourself an operators licence so you can receive bookings direct, I would just swallow the losses by using the E-Class on X for 3 months, and get an X car afterwards.

My mate started with uber exec yesterday. I warned him that he would have to be on X at first and do a lot of cheap jobs before he will become exec.
He went to uber and they asked him what was he doing before. He said that worked for executive chauffeur company and uber put him straight onto Exec platform. No waiting, no cheap jobs. Did 6 hours day time, 50 miles driven, 130£ and happy with his first day so far.

Since it interests you so much Im a part time handyman/interior designer and a music producer/dj, I always worked within the service sector in some way and enjoy providing good service, I also enjoy making money. So I thought this would be a good option to kill off some spare time and boost my income. I hope that clarifies any of your concerns in adding up things regarding me and my income.
Didn't see any coffee or tea but I got a cheap aux lead and some flyers lol

I still have the square uber airfreshner never used them smells like mint reminds me of the smell of uber
