Ignore the ping and you will get a closer one.
exactly ignoring the ping works , finding the most popular restaurant and parking out the front of it works even better
BTW, what is uber's cut for EATS. They don't say on the website. Anyone know whether there is any demand in the N shore for weekday lunch?
log on in crows nest , plenty of offices ordering in St Leonards , I think Ubers cut is the $5 fee and about 35%of the order total.
Forget uber eats. It's not practical in a car. Finding somewhere to stop to pick up a passenger is hard enough let alone parking while you run someone's noodles in. It's a job for bikes and scooters. As you said 8 bucks for 45 minutes.
happy to avoid pax spewing all through my car though
I think this forum has mostly Uberx drivers. You could always ignore the pings that are too far away or do they penalise you for that?
yes you do get penalised for avoiding a ping , my experience has been that the person at Uber allocating the delivery request gives you a long distance ping because he something even more rewarding waiting for you , another short distance pick up from wherever your doing dropping the food off can result in a long distance delivery paying between $19 to $21 a drop. You look after the dispatcher he or she will look after you
Seems like bikes and cars have different boost areas, this the boost in my app, I registered for a bike, and here's the boost I get:
