Don't you think it's odd that nothing is open (clubs, pubs, bars) and there's no events, yet there's a 2x surge ?
Out of curiosity how much did you make from Fri-Sun excluding Eats?
No, you've misunderstood me. I only do Eats.

There was a $2 surge in the city and inner northern suburbs tonight, yet I sat there for an hour and didn't get a ping. The only explanation I can think of is that there's an absolute shitload of delivery drivers out there competing for pings.

I'm wondering how many of them are Uber drivers that have switched over because there's no passengers.

Are you on a moped or car?

Yep their sending all the trips to push bikies and motorbikes 1st and then you get it been in a car.
If you want more jobs you need to be on either a push bike or a moped. Otherwise you get the left overs and whatever else.

Have sat at maccas one time... 1 hour no pings yet half a dozen UE on moped picked up orders :roflmao: Went to GLH and said wtf you doing! Then he came clean and said it not the closes person it different priorities for different delivery partners. It BS but hey that UE for you.

I thought you were doing both just in case with luck you might get pax.

Anyways drivers who were smart have already switched to Eats since the announcement to close all establishments.

Even though it looks "busy" you got to think about your competitors (drivers/bikes/moped, Menulog/Deliveroo).

That's why I'm offering my Bike to do Uber Eats, Menulog and Deliveroo. Busy as hell, no parking issues and bugger all fuel.
I'm back in a full time position with lot's of hours and no time to do any deliveries. But good potential for someone in need of an income.
