Drivers you talk to will never admit that they're making less, so people think we have it made. They enter the industry and realize it's not all it's cracked up to be. By then they'll be in a lease contract with the predatory 4 rental companies or worse, have invested into a car already and they have no choice but to keep it going. Eventually they get out.

In New Jersey the entry barrier is lowered and dirt but in New York City it's really hard to become an Uber driver

Not hard, just time consuming. It's harder to keep the license clean with all these ticket hungry cops tho
