There is probably a video of the whole thing and probably people around. That pickup spot is packed with cars and police are usually nearby. How did these clowns get away with this? I carry scissors in my side pocket for instances like this where you don't want to flash a gun around.

Investigations after the fact and the perps are gone take time. However, the cops did have the perp who ordered the ride. In addition, if they were tourists it would be doubly hard. So give it a little time, follow-ups are not as newsworthy as the first happens.

This would be one of those times my pocket knife would earn its wings. Ever since taking the bus out here for 6 years I go nowhere without one cuz of crazy people.

Have you ever used a knife? Ever practice? You could get that knife taken from you and end up stuck with it yourself.

This is why I keep the doors locked. This prevents people from opening the doors and piling into my car before I get the chance to assess the rider(s).
