Passenger drags luggage across the bumper.... 1st nasty nick in 6500+ rides. Uber says that's normal wear and tear and they don't cover it. I figured that anyway so I just used some touch up paint already but still amazes me at their responses.
I'm sorry that happened to you but it could have been prevented. Load pax luggage YOURSELF!

It was deep, I'm not a moron. It's a white car and the black plastic was exposed. That's why I even submitted it to uber. It was more of a gash not a scrape. I keep rubbing compound in the trunk for scratches.
Should of just use some rubbing compound and a towel. Would of came out without a scratch.
Now it probably looks like crap

I would imagine a car with that many completed rides has a bunch of stab wounds and bullet holes and possibly signs of rape lol

Do you have a pic of damage?

Also it seems like they got a 3 strike policy with background not sure if you want to waste it on a scratch

I get it, it is probably less about the scratch and more about how somebody paid no regard to your expensive personal property. Just be lucky it was cosmetic damage and not somebody f'in a door up or something. This happened to me with a stroller a couple weeks ago. Guy is just trying to slam the overhead door shut.

Also, Kodyhead laying down the truth! Go ahead and spray some luminol on that interior just to double check.

Actually people consistently ask me if the car is new. I am meticulous about keeping it clean. The cloth seats still look brand new (Blue Corral Upholstery Foam), 12V Vacuum, and lysol wipes. Only thing is quite a few rock chips on the front bumper (THANKS I-285!!!) But otherwise the entire car looks new.

Also, what do you mean about 3-strike? I've had 1 insurance claim with Uber for a busted rear window with $0 deductible from James River Insurance 2 years ago... But thats the only insurance claim I've ever had with Uber.

I think he was using humor to illustrate the point that after 6500 rides that car has been through some "shit".
