Uber succumbs to the competition in China... With a little more propaganda to add to his impressive list of inconsistencies, brags, and outright lies:

Uber takes 20% stake in Didi along with $1B in cash and ceases operations in China

I wouldn't read too much into it. Asian countries are fiercely nationalistic, much more than we are. A Chinese version of Uber would always win in China.
Exactly, the Chinese people, let alone the government, would never have let an American company come in and dominate, they would not have stood a chance.

A disciple can not beat the master. Uber is after all a Chinese model to the core which revolves around slave labor.
