This was posted in the LA forums.

Uber has taken away the option to see if it's a Pool or X ride when the request comes in.

This is after some new update for the LA market. So you can rest assured it's coming to SD in the near, near future.

This means you will not be able to see what kind or request you've accepted until after you accept it. And at that point, you're only left with one option: Cancel which counts against you or bite the bullet and eat the POO.

Ingeniously deceitful Uber thinks they will win this POO battle with more deception and stupid games directed at the drivers.

Just who in their right mind, does this?

Ridiculous!

Guess it's worth repeating. There is absolutely no reason to ever take a pool ride. To everyone that thinks otherwise, this is the end result. You are trying to manipulate something that is bad, and make it ok, when you don't have to do it at all.

Teach other drivers they do not have to take these rides before you see Escalades and Suburbans driving around on Uber Pool.

Accepting pool is like doubling the amount of drivers/competition to the road.

Even referrals are bad for business, but at least there is the potential for financial gain.

If you get stuck with a pool whether from necessity, or accident, make it a pain for the customer. Take the slow route and blame it on Pool rules. Turn the air conditioner off or down. Lock your windows. Make it more like a bus ride than a personal ride service.

Just Say No ... to Uber Pool.

Cancel the pool ride, then send a message to support reporting a problem with the app. Flood their asses with support requests, and you have a record of the incident (and that you notified them of the problem) if they deactivate you for cancellations.

Good idea until they deactivate you!

They don't need you because there are 100 replacements at the pyramid and nobody is going to waste their time and money with a lawyer in an attempt to get your driving gig back with Uber.

In case you needed a reminder , Uberites , it's called RideShare. It's not just an Orwellian term to skirt the law. You actually have to share your ride for pennies on the dollar.

lol .

You actually don't have to do a damn thing. You are not required to accept any rides, and if you think DRIVERS are the ones skirting the law you have lost your mind.
