Does anyone have any experience with Uber Black in Philadelphia? I'm thinking of ditching my current vehicle and working out of an 2015 Audi A4 I've inherited, but I don't know anything about Black.

There's a very specific list of vehicles allowed on uber black... please do some research.

Here's a list of vehicles they allow for (black) LM plates

Keep in mind the Chrysler 300 is also no longer allowed.

As far as I'm aware those are fleet vehicles and uber has it's own list they allow which is much shorter than that (you obviously can't do black in a Toyota Camry)...

You can go for Lyft premier and Lux. Audi A4 is qualified and you don’t need LM plates. In the span of two weeks of driving for Lyft , I’ve only had 1 Lux pick up: University City to somewhere in Moorestown. Received about $100 (guy didn’t tip).

My car qualifies for Lyft Premier, but I've only been offered 3 requests for same since I started in Feb. Pays about 3x the Lyft rate, nice when you can get it (none of the 3 tipped).

Black on black with leather and luxury settings. BUT, I was told by Uber last month that they aren't accepting any more UberBlack car profiles. And the calling for them is LOW. If you're gonna go that route, since you need your Commercial license and insurance anyway, just get in with a Limo company and work with them while getting your own pax following. Go into business for yourself.
