We make below minimum wage, and most are probably loosing money at this.

Weather or not some Ants believe it...even the IRS agrees the true cost of operating a vehicle is over 50 cents a mile. Most of us drive at least TWO MILES for every "paid" mile with a rider in the car.

Uber makes it difficult for riders to tip drivers.

They list the attached notice to appease drivers, lawyers, courts...yet how easy us it for passangers to view it.

Hope when Juno comes here, it has in app tipping.

Riders have been telling me they are switching to Lyft so they can tip drivers in app.

Ducks and other drivers should not have to cary cash to make tip change for riders.

Uber should add in app tipping.

Where would a duck put its cash anyway?

In it's "Bill" fold, of course.

You know the Juno only accepts cars that are 2013 and newer right?

But remember, if you tip "in app" then it will appear on your 1040, if its cash well, you have the option to declare it or not
We don't get 1040's. Ignorance is bliss. UNTIL YOU FILE YOUR TAXES.

You have to declare any cash tips on your Schedule C anyway.

Good. It will keep out the scroungers with beaters. Saw a dude at LAX pig pen with a piece of s car, broken wipers, broken mirror, had to pull battery cable to turn off car.

Like I said in the opening post:
"Riders have been telling me they are switching to Lyft so they can tip drivers in app."

They will loose riders and drivers if they don't do whats right and fair.
And yet Fuber still has a 90% market share in Los Angeles. Go figure.

Or else what? What are YOU going to do about it? Are you going to switch to Lyft? Go for it. TK Boobmeister doesn't care.

There's a bill 1099. If passed it will force uber to put a tipping option in the app.

Assembly Bill 1099 from Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher would force companies, such as Uber, that accept payments with credit cards to allow users of the service to tip workers with credit cards as well.
Very well put red baron!!! Welcome to our humble forum!!

In nyc uber has 3 competitors. Lyft and juno suck. Their trips suck. Their tips suck. Their riders are mostly uber rejects who dont tip. The ones that tip give you a dollar on top of their minimum fare. Atleast uber has long trips and one hit wonder. Uber is evil but lyft and juno are the devils copycats who think their insignificant tips make up for the crap fares. The only company here that stands out from the pack is gett. They have the least developed app but the most original and unique features. Gett sucks too but i give them tons of respect for differentiating and listening to drivers. By they way gett for some reason has more tippers and biggest tips

Oooooh, smart....so it's better to get ZERO cash, then we pay ZERO taxes on the ZERO cash!

Uber Better, Add in App Tipping
