No thank you.View attachment 237593 You can't get one from eBay for about $10
Not doubting you, but what is your source here? The Beacons have to be returned as UBER didn't get the green light to continue with them from RMS past the trial period.
It was always part of the trial for vivid. Not doubting you, but what is your source here?
In other jurisdictions overseas, the beacons are issued on a voluntary basis permanently. UBER got permission to use them here during Vivid, I understand the RMS has not extended the use of the beacons here. I guess once they are collected, they could use them again next year ....Thanks, but my question was directed rather at Ausois - what's the source for the "didn't get the green light to continue from the RMS" part?
No thanks . We are doing fine as it is without driving around telling everybody you are driving for UberThis is bullshit...
What FUber needs to do is the same as dominos. A fully detachable sign on the roof sticking out like dogs balls. Lit up in a fluorescent colour which is taller, bigger than taxis and truly stands out. Something that you can see halfway up Pitt street... Not something that you can see 2 cars away...
It's a form of communication with the pax... Which is something that FUber has EXTREME troubles with...
Yeah, but apparently you guys in FL get paid so little that in the event of the beacon's $100 non return fee being charged there, the entire Florida economy would implode. Consequently, Governor Rick Scott, has been in touch with Dara and made it clear that it is a non starter.Cant they just ship the beacons to other markets?
Lol...N
