I’ve been locked out of the uber app since the Thursday before Christmas due to “random background check”

So I have only been able to deal with Lyft.

I'll add that it's been slow enough that I've stretched my Under 10 Minutes rule for drive time and have been accepting some 12-15 minute drives, especially if I think they might be a decent airport fare with rematch potential. 'Sides, I've been bored at times.

This week I will keep a notebook, for S&G. Will record # of cash tips on each app and # of rides where I get +50% surge or greater, whether it be PZ or just surge.

Depends how you look at it. There have been pdx surges after Christmas and New Years.
Other major airports are shut down and those will have a crap ton of flights coming in whenever.
There was a 5x surge the other night.
