they didn’t raise the Shore rate like the rest of the state but they did jack up the booking fee here by 30 cents.
Haha. Thats fantastic.Oh boo hoo. Poor DTS drivers didn't get a raise. Seriously, you have no right to complain about the shore rates. Wait until Uber lowers them; THEN you can cry in your beer.
I wasn't complaining. I was just pointing out that uber can give themselves a raise but not look out for the drivers. Raising the rates helps all, not just the ones who live here because you all come here anyway.Oh boo hoo. Poor DTS drivers didn't get a raise. They've been doing it in different markets around the country not just here.I wonder if Uber did this because they are going to start doing "dollar surge" like Charlotte, NC.
It could very well be damage control and I do hope that it is. I do take to Twitter and let fo0ber know how I feel about them and there are 1000s of others doing the same thing, so perhaps they are taking heed. Who knows? I do know that I do not trust them at all to ever do right by their "partners."They've been doing it in different markets around the country not just here.
I think it's part of the Dara damage control. Or they could be setting us up for an upfront cash price surge. I just don't think that will go over well with the drivers and right now in Uber situation I don't think they want to piss off the drivers any more then they already have. But of course I could be wrong and since the vast majority of drivers are new they wouldn't know the difference anyway and would figure it's just the way it's always been.
Gotcha, just stating a fact. Sorry if I misread your post...I wasn't complaining. I was just pointing out that uber can give themselves a raise but not look out for the drivers. Raising the rates helps all, not just the ones who live here because you all come here anyway.
