Hi Folks,
I got a message in my inbox, actually it was the latest newsletter, and it said in one part to apply for Uber Pro. I only deliver food, no passengers, so I started the application, and it tells me download the uber pro app. I did that, and it tells me to use the app to sign up/apply and i start the application process all over again, and then it tells me to KICKSTART the uber pro process in the uber driver app. Okay so I have the uber driver app still running. Go through it all over and again it keeps telling me to kicstart through the driver app and then it sends me back to the application process ove and over.

Is this Kickstart thing a term uber is trying to be hip or cool with instead of being clear and concise, or os there some unique, buried command or tab somewhwere in the drivers app?

is anyone else having problems? Oh btw this is on android.

Never heard of an uber pro app...
I've never made a delivery, 36k rides though 😉

The link came through a message delivered to the inbox of the driver app. I don't drive passengers, only do food deliveries.

I agree. Never heard of an Uber Pro app. Uber Pro is just a section in the normal driver app.

If you gave this "Uber Pro app" any login or bank information, then I recommend changing your passwords ASAP.

Where did you download this so called UBER PRO app from? 🤔

From a link in that email or from App Store? There is no UBER PRO app.

I agree with the other two posters that someone may be trying to hack your account.

Just out of curiosity, what is the domain that this email originated from?

Not sure what you’re trying to activate. UberPro is in the main menu of your app. You just start delivering and it starts counting your points. Lunches - 3, Dinners - 6, 1 point the rest of the time.

Levels are Gold, Platinum and Diamond,go by monthly delivery points. That’s all it is.

Exactly. Don't get that unless you enjoy waiting around at restaurants for no pay while they prepare food.
