I get a ride request around 19pm friday and a phone call immediately after accepting. Pax wanted to make sure I could take him to Apple Valley had two drivers say no/ I love long trips and I have some people up that way so I told him not a problem at all. Pax even offer gas money for trip bck. I told him no need to worry about that. We hang up i rive towards pick up look vack at app to to see new spot pick up local. open the info its a pool call right away it is not the Apple Valley just some ****ing kid(-18) wants to go to In-n-out a nice fat $4.75 instead of a lame $100. now thank G-D no ones mother was around to hear me scream a list of profanities that would make Dice Clay blush. not at the pax. Thanks Uber thank you for not switching me with a lower surge and saving ne the heart ache of making too much money.

Has the ride switching just started in SD? I didn't notice any over the weekend, but I also didn't update the app yet.
I mostly ran Lyft GH and had a couple real sweet 2 minute line no show drive offs. In both cases I had a pax in the car as we were waiting on the new one I had them all riled up about having to wait. I'd hit that cancel button as soon as it counted down and the rider would just be walking up as I drove off. My pax loved it, they were laughing and yelling at the line losers on the curb. One guy yelled that he'd report me, I'm like GO AHEAD! next time don't order LINE!!!

I love a 3x shorty close by. If they are too hard to find fast, they get cancelled immediately. Too bad Uber doesn't just allow the driver to figure this out for themselves and stop penalizing us for efficiency. It's like Uber wants to be my boss or something.
