Are you a booking service providerOf course it isn't, why would it be illegal.
I just wanted to clarify your standing, in most states this is illegal, what are your responsibilities as far as reporting, collecting levy, security re cameras etcNo, I am an Independent Service Provider. Look it up on CPVV
Cool, totally illegal in qld, quite like vic govs attitude to thisI'm not sure it is illegal in most states as you say. Remember we are talking about booked services. If a rider flags me down and I take them for cash or card payment, that would be ride hailing for which the car must be a registered taxi. When a rider calls me to book a ride then I go provide that service and get paid, I am fully within my rights.
ISV's are not required to collect or pay levy. Requirements are the same as for ride-sourcing vehicles (CPV in service label in windshield). Income & GST is reported the same as it is for ride-sourcing drivers.
