My trip of the month was yesterday and I don't have a screenshot because it was a private trip paid in cash. Southbank to Clyde, $250
Yeah, that’s right, premium driver just need doing private jobs, just print box business card left in the car, every time pick up some long trips, share them ur business number
Cash or bank transfer all good, no need paying service fee.
U are doing the right thing

If you live in a far out suburb, it doesn't matter if you have a premium car or not, when you identify clients for things like AP transfer you can card them. What's most important is not to undersell yourself, private service comes at a premium.

I have had lots of riders living in places like Mornington or up in the hills, who wish they could have a driver on call for trips into the city or AP.

Yeah, i know, but i just can’t follow other’s time, got family issues, been ask for a lot of time for a business number, have to decline with no choice.
I don’t mind switch my bimmer to do the private trip, but what’s next? I am not gonna doing uberX or uberC after that…not running back empty either
Again if the time suits me
Plz let me know, when u 60%+ uber income from premium, i may start think to have a try

I just wanted to clarify your standing, in most states this is illegal, what are your responsibilities as far as reporting, collecting levy, security re cameras etc
I'm not sure it is illegal in most states as you say. Remember we are talking about booked services. If a rider flags me down and I take them for cash or card payment, that would be ride hailing for which the car must be a registered taxi. When a rider calls me to book a ride then I go provide that service and get paid, I am fully within my rights.

ISV's are not required to collect or pay levy. Requirements are the same as for ride-sourcing vehicles (CPV in service label in windshield). Income & GST is reported the same as it is for ride-sourcing drivers.

Waiting in the nest is almost always a waste of time (and timer)
