Hey folks,

I ran into some family issues, and I will be out of town/state for the weekend. This really hurts my ride share business. I went to Uber Greenlight location to see if I could get a temporary access into the market I am heading into over the weekend. OMG, A new background check, a week to process, and red tape so I told them to forget it.

I did, however, sign up for Lyft here in the STL market, in case they came back after HB130. I asked them if I could switch markets temporarily while I was out of town. It was super simple email conversation with support, and I am ready to go for this weekend.

I hope that I make some good money using Lyft in an unfamiliar market. Has anybody else drove in a "Visiting Market?" Any tips?

This is OT, not what you asked about, but might be worth mentioning. Most of us in the FB group are waiting to sign up for Lyft. There should be incentives for us if we use each others' promo codes to sign up when the Bill passes and they are ready to start up, but are none for signing up now.
