Too analytical?

Finally spent the money on a camera and gps mount...Vantrue N2 pro.
So I've installed it temporarily right below the mirror. Ran it for one day and reviewed the video on multiple files. Checked both camera views. My wife says "why are you reviewing the video? You're being too analytical with it."

I figured why not check the video to make sure its covering the areas I want without obstructions and quality. Do you all do this?

Also do you leave your camera up all the time or take it down?

Any time a security camera, dash cam etc is installed you need to verify exactly what it's seeing. This is not even up for debate, I can't believe your wife doesn't see value in that.

My dash cam stays up all the time. Taking them down is a hassle just not worth it.

Agreed, I feel why would you not check it. She says she would just set it and forget it.
Mine is non hassle gets power from mount so just slide camera off and you're done.
I know she doesn't want it up there for fear of me spying on her.

I look at the video every once in a while to remind me how happy I am with the N2 Pro. I love the clarity of the picture. (Plus I took a really beautiful video with the cámara facing out of the car while I was driving through Dallas. I love the way this city looks at night.)

I leave mine up if I am going out before it starts to heat up during the day. If I'm concerned at all about not going out early, I take it out of the windshield because I don't want to chance it getting too hot. And it is easy enough to take off the suction cup/charger anyway.

I hope you are as happy with your Cámara as I am!

I review my videos often. If I did a trip that I think caused me to get a bad rating I go back and watch what happened and see if I can figure out why.
