While in the Marina in a 1.5x boost zone this morning at 10:25 I received a request with a long trip notification. Considering the time, I figured anywhere they were going would be fine and accepted. Within a few seconds I received a phone call from the pax saying they were going to Napa and wanted to make sure I was okay with it as a previous driver cancelled after showing up and finding out the destination.

Turned out to be a smooth and rather pleasant drive with 3 young ladies going to Bottle Rock. An hour and 10 minutes later I dropped them off and made $103 plus a $12 tip which was 15% of what they paid. Thanks to the boost, Uber lost $25 on this trip. I set DF for the return and got 1 short trip and then a longer trip that took my back over the Bridge for a double toll bonus. A total of $180 for less then 2 1/2 hours.

Thank you to the driver that decided this trip wasn't worth it, I enjoyed it.

A marina tip?? We're they from the marina or at an Airbnb? I would go buy lottery tickets after this.
Haha! True story; I buy a lotto ticket once every few weeks and I bought a $10 scratcher this afternoon. Yep, a $200 winner!!

3 tech ladies living in SF, all from the South Bay originally. Truly a 5 star trip all around. I think they thought of me as a father figure, but whatever. It really was a nice drive

I stayed at home. Decided to head over to Bay 101.

Started with $150 and made $3,000. So I think my Sunday was better

Congrats!

How come you went straight home? There was a lot of late morning surge, which, like an idiot, I missed out on watching the Indy 500.
After the drop off, there was only some light surge in the area and I wanted to get back to the City before traffic set in. SF actually had some decent boost this morning. I had my best day of the week and only worked 5 hours.

Very nice round trip! You seem to get up to Napa fairly often. It's a great place to visit.

The Indy 500 was finally a good race. Lack of down force made it much more competitive. Too bad Helio crashed near the end because he was starting to get dialed in for the last 40 laps. Wanted to see him climb the fence again.
