Uber devises introductory terms and incentives that induce new drivers to onboard. They offer terms to lease a car thru Santander for 3 times the normal cost. Santander terms will not change but Uber's terms WILL change(approximately 3 times a year). If you are unable to maintain an acceptable rating, Uber will charge you (blackmail you) to the tune of $200 for the privilege of having the "opportunity" to drive again. When Uber is looking for new monetary opportunities, it seeks them out in its drivers, not it's riders. Over time this amounts to severe exploitation of its drivers. There will be some jerks that will disagree, but most of them will be named Bart2Puck. Ignore him...he probably went to University of Maryland. Enough said.
