Did you get the Uber Driver promotion at Firestone also? Believe it is tires at 10% above Dealer cost?

It's part of the Uber Driver Reward's Program not an Uber Corp staff program (https://partners.uber.com/auto-repairs/firestone)

But guessing the deal you got on special was similar anyway. Your cost for 70K tires sounds good. Good luck.

I either buy tires that have coverage for nail damage or I buy used tires from Tucker Tire in Laguna Niguel, Amato Tires in LN or a place in Norwalk that name slips the mind (Google used tires norwalk). Tucker amd Norwalk have good selections and Amato is limited but has some great tires with good tread for good prices. I got one for $50 with 85% tread on it. Value was at least $119. I was out of there with 2 tires in 20 minutes for $70 (other tire has 50% tread).

I bought rear tires last week. 19 255/30. Two of them cost $550. Just for the record. Didn't buy the car to uber. Had it laying around. Next time getting the smallest rim possible

I can't remember but it might be wholesale tire in norwalk. I believe it comes up near top of Google search .

Americas tire and discount tire fix flats for free. Doesn't matter if you bought the tire from them or not. No road hazard warranty required.

They said the only time the road hazard warranty applies is if the tire isn't fixable. Like side wall damage

Pep boys too. I got tires there but on sale as they are normally not cheap at Pep boys.

YMMV with Pepboys - the first nail they took out no problem. A few months later they refused to fix a different tire, said there was not enough tread left and tried to sell me a new one.

Checked for an "idiot who knows nothing about cars" sign taped to my forehead, found none; went to America's Tire where they fixed it straight away with no BS.

city need to keep roads clean or file a claim with city for not utilizing our tax dollars properly, next time any nail or broken glass dame will send the invoice to city
