Big picture won't help but I'm going to start complaining about every ride asking where the tip button is and just send it over until they close each issue as resolved after not resolving my issue the question is which option to email complain under after each trip

Few tips that may work (and have worked for me at times, through trial and error)

-have spare change in your cup holder space or anywhere else that can be visible to clients but don't make it too obvious. The idea or hope is that when they see the coins, they will be reminded to tip.

-If you have a DVD player in the back, create a DVD with static images that change once in a while, with picture of nature, beach, flowers etc. Basically something calming. But here is the trick: using some photo editing software, you plant some hidden messages behind the picture. For example, behind the picture of a mountain, you can blend in text (not readable by the human eye) that reads something like 'I accept and appreciate tips' or 'tipping the driver is a great idea and ensures an even better service'

-Alternatively, you can have an audio CD that plays classical music but with hidden messages planted throughout. These can be found on YouTube privably

No idea but I make $10 a day in tips remember I drive in Hamilton people there are broke
Maybe an average of what you make per trip might be more comparable as we all have different number of trips per day. Do people talk to you about it or you just leave it there?

Also are you being serious but that actually looks more comical but, if it works...why not...

That's one step away from the homeless guy his cup out imo.

If someone is going to tip, they're going to tip. No cheesy box strapped to your arm rest is going to change that, at least not substantially enough to cancel out the volume of dignity and class you must trash to install such a thing.

All the tips I've received were from the 40+ age demographic. The younger ones don't typically tip (one young lady did).

BTW, when I tip someone it makes me feel good. Look him/her in the eye and say thanks. The box removes that human interaction and pleasure. I'd still tip the cat if he deserves it, but I'd hand it to him directly.

Box seems cheesy sure however, some people will always tip, some people will never tip and the rest in the middle need prompting or persuasion. If the box works, use it. I don't think it's best but to each their own. Dignity and class? You're an uber driver, you lost that the day you started driving. Might as well get more money for it.

Freud could make full time gig out of just you. I disagree wholeheartedly with your dignity/class comment. You're a sad case if you actually believe that.

Yes, I'm sure ol' coke head freud could, after all I drive uber. It's your choice to disagree. Not sure I see how I am a sad case for believing that. In all seriousness I do not think you lose dignity for driving uber. But if you are willing to drive uber, more specifically uberx/pool or even select forced to take x and then think that tip box is an issue for dignity. Then yes, I definitely believe you would need Freud, Jung, Pavlov, Maslow, Skinner, Piaget all in one to help you.

You can make your tip jars for a lot cheap. Just buy a sturdy plastic tube that fit in your cup holder, attach some colour changing lights at the bottom, get a small stencil that says "tips" and spray paint it in black. That shouldnt cost more then $30.

Maybe staple a cardboard sign to your headliner too. Mount a sexy 2nd-hand disco ball from it. Get some lovely multi-colored LED strip lights up there. Make'em flash to the beat of your bent rims.
I actually don't get you. You seem so adamant about pretending this is so below you yet you are doing the same job as them and by the sounds of it, for less. But I guess you have your dignity. How much food does that buy you?
