Tips and surges are bullcrap.. when lax is surging 2.1 I get 1.7 ride. When its surging 1.7 I get nothing.

Same... I even called Rohit to ask if there was a problem but he thought i kept saying Trip instead of Tip. I even spelled it out for him. When i gave up, I asked to end the call so i can answer the survey. He knew I was going to give him terrible ratings and then wouldn't end the call. Just left me on hold.... I could hear him come back on every few minutes because of the people talking in the background.

There was a short period where I would earn tips in the daily earnings, but no information on each specific ride it came from as usual underneath the ride like "7.50 + 5 = $12.50" and. No checkmark

'cause tippers either hand me cash upon arriving at their destination... or I see it on the app within a few hours of the ride ...
Not sure I'm following your reply and the suggestion that the manner in which riders tip you personally should be the same every time. In any case, they have 30 days, so a tip 1 week later shouldn't be all that surprising or unbelievable. Hope that helps.

Some people just forget because they are a little hammered
Happened to me as a pax this weekend in Vegas, short ride on base cost like $5 and it was a Lexus 300ish not sure.
Had to go back today and tip him, I'm sure he got my ratings but I don't care it's a burner account

What I've noticed in the new app is that if someone gives you a tip from the day before or earlier than that, it won't show up in your main screen. You have to go to your picture on the top right then earnings on the top left and that balance will be different from the balance on the main screen. I think that's a dumb move because now they don't add it to the current earnings of that particular day that you're working. And in no way do they tell you about this new future, so you have to find out the hard way LOL
So now I go to earnings to cash out because most of the time that amount Is higher than the main screen earnings settings says . An example for tonight it was off by $3 because I was given a tip for an Uber Eats delivery I did yesterday. So the $3 didn't show up on today's main screen page but it did in the earnings page which is stupid.
