Where is a good city to move to and do Uber? I feel like I need a change of scenery. Open to go anywhere. I have been Atlanta too long.

I have the same question and the best answer I got is "Seattle" and I'm doing research about it.

I'm thinking of moving to Denver in the next few months.
How odd that a "full time scientist" would up and decide to move to Denver. Even more strange is that the "full time scientist " would bother checking the Denver uber forum pages to "get ideas of how she would do there."

It seems to me that a real scientist would not care so much about measly uber pennies when they were walking away from their full time scientist gig.

Lies are so easy to rip apart.

You are so right. Did you know the whole state of Colorado is devoid of any science related occupations? Crazy, huh?

I'm thinking of moving to Denver in the next few months. It seems to be more or less comparable to the Atlanta market. I've been looking over their forum page to get some ideas of how I would do there.
A real scientist wouldn't be making carrer choices based on how much they could make being an Uber driver.

Too easy!

This is from the Uber website. They must have lowered them sometime this year. It's still better than Atlanta Uber X.
Base Fare: $1.25
Per Minute: $0.20
Per Mile: $1.15
Cancellation Fee: $5
Service Fees: $1.35
Minimum Fare: $5

Oregon is just beautiful. Coos Bay (on the central coast) was lows mid 50's and highs mid 60's. Crater Lake is amazing. So many mountains and rivers and trees.
Athens if you are fine driving at night. During school year it is surge city from midnight to 3am. All rides are are less than 5 miles. Was in Athens when I started Ubering and could guarantee atleast $200 a night for XL, and most of your rides are drunk sexy college girls...entertaining for sure.

Really like idea of driving hot girls while they pay me a surge... and the occassional invite to join them. Had this happen a few times and would guess athens is good environment for that to happen

Lol. No money here...I average $4-9 an hour BEFORE expenses. Only worth it if you like living in your car and hate money.

Miami, although I heard Lyft is dominant there.

I believe Honolulu is 1.35 a mile.
Cost of living there is extremely high.

Lol, I was thinking about getting one of those tip boxes
Thought about there too. I am checking cost of living comparisons too for a lot of cities.
Denver is more expensive than Atlanta and is a smaller city...did I mention the cold weather, haha?

Looking for a change of scenery. This town has gotten way too expensive for what it has to offer and I get bored easily.
There are only 8 US markets bigger than Atlanta, so if you are bored here are your choices:

NYC
LA
Chicago
Dallas
Houston
Washington DC
Philadelphia
Miami
