But kinda feeling like this makes me crazy.
In order to qualify last week, I had to work 38 hours. Mon evening/night, Tuesday evening/night, Wednesday evening/night, Thursday for approx 2 hours, Friday from 4 pm to 2:35 am, and finally Saturday from 3 pm to 2:30 am.

Without there being any Mariners home games this week and only a Beyonce concert on Wednesday night, not sure if I'm gonna be able to pull it off. Guess I'll go vacuum out my car after work today and get started and see how this evening/night go and gauge it from there.

That is pretty cool. I can understand if you don't want to answer this but how much did you make on the 38 hours last week? Just curious as the difference from Lyft to Uber.

I sent a few emails to Lyft when I moved here and they never got back as I was in their system from San Diego with a whooping 30 or so rides. I just gave up as to lazy to go do the inspection and chase them down.

I don't think I want to sign-up with them as I really want to move on from ride-sharing by the end of summer (lol, probably be here a year from now), but wondering if Im making a big mistake only driving Uber.

I think Uber is more popular in this area and therefore usually surges more often, has higher surges, and you get more rides. With that said, I made $766.38 last week. That was for 38.5 hours of logged in time, with only 17.5 of those hours actually driving with someone in my car.

I'm hoping to do this for at the most, one more month and then have enough money to be done with it. It's already taking me a lot longer than I originally anticipated but that is because sometimes I take off Friday night or Saturday or both or only drive one night during the week, etc.

I say you wont quit for good....its a fun game , even when you don't "need" the money.
I dunno. I rather miss my personal life. Especially with spring/summer here. I'd rather be hiking and spending time with friends cooking out and going to the beach and movies and having a regular sleep pattern again.

I admire you for taking care of your goals and hope u hit it soon and get the *** out. I wonder if u will quit entirely, maybe after summer/spring u come back and use it for a vacation fund or to stack some cheddar without the stress of having to do it to pay down the debt and get it out of your life. I totally understand as I have two more payments on a long-term personal debt with a great friend who has been nothing but kind about it, but its been to long and once its gone, its gone for good and I cant wait to not have to cut those hefty checks and have a personal debt hanging over my head.

For me its going to be really hard to do this over the summer if its really nice and everyone is having fun, partying, traveling, etc.

Come fall I am planning on being in school to finish my nursing degree so I highly doubt it. Maybe use it enough just to stay active for nights like Halloween and NYE.

The good thing is if you already driving for Uber you have all the paperwork and inspections you need. It should be easy to get one of their reps at the inspection place to approve them all. The only thing that Lyft requires over Uber (eventually) is the State Business License. Uber is good with just Seattle.

Wake up early instead, or thats how it goes for us.

3:00-5:00am is consistently better business than midnight to 2am

Heck, 4am on a thursday beats 2am on a friday/saturday

Maybe in OC but I'm not so sure about here in Seattle.
Plus, we don't get any of that lucky incentive or guarantee crap. The area here is too saturated for us to make anything but VERY rare 25% primetime bonuses that last for a couple of hours usually one morning a week.
And there is no way I could be logged in for 62 hours EVER. Lol
