Run.
Dont stop..
Dont look back...
Dont even think about it again....

You want it honest opinion I'm giving you an honest answer. It's too late for the ones that are already tied into it. You have a chance to survive on something other than this oh, take it seriously take it! If you really want to drive try driving a professional job such as a bus driver or something in a area that you can actually get benefits and a decent living wage.

You should definitely do it. I do Uber/left and make 30/hr. I moved here from Toronto so believe me i know both markets. Having a class 4 license is a blessing. Make sure you get a cheap car good on gas. If u need any help pm me.
Thanks so much. I am all set up with Uber app. Only thing left is buying a car. I may use my friend's corolla for a few weeks to drive uber before buying my a car.
I want to look into Lyft as well.
I will pm you.

Do you make $30 per hour before or after expenses such as gas, parking, maintenance, insurance, repairs, etc?

None of us do. That comes later. FWIW a car still costs you whether or not you use it for a business.

I spend $17K a year on gas, maintenance, licensing, insurance, fees, etc, driving Uber full time here in YYC. I normally grossed between $25 and $30 an hour. My gas bill has gone from $500 to $1,100 a month.

So, how much per hour do you make after all the expenses, counting tax-deductions?
