I agree for every other job in the world except this one 😫
Regardless of occupation the goal of strikes or protests is to make pay and working conditions good enough so they won't have to quit their jobs.

All of them annual protests at LAX, what changed for the better due to those protests?
Nothing at all.
Maybe you're not aware of it but the 2019 California strike/protest was a success despite the fact that only a small number of drivers participated. It succeeded because it got the attention of the media and politicians. Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren were among the pols who spoke in support of the drivers. The strike was an important catalyst for the passage of AB5.

Unfortunately Uber and the other gig companies spent $300 million on the disastrous Prop 22 which repealed AB5 before it could take affect.

Seattle drivers are the highest paid rideshare drivers in the US because the drivers did an excellent job organizing and making themselves heard by the politicians.
