Allright, but who want to take a ride of any length at twenty-five KpH? If you consider that the average speed in urban driving is thirty to thirty-five KpH, you are still under that in this thing.

Yes, they will be here, but, they will not replace the vehicle under human control. Too many possibilities for failures. ...........and remember, Murphy was an optimist.

So the robocar is going to call the Pax, tell them it had to pull over down the street because they couldn't stop at the intersection, and then make an illegal but perfectly safe u-turn to find them when they won't move?

Pax location errors is why this will never work. Unless cities start having designated robocar pickup zones.

I think we'll have a different pax locator tech.....some sort of tractor beam that guides the robocar to the exact location of the pax.....the beam being emitted by the pax. No GPS nonsense or crappy maps.
