Nothing worse than cheerleaders for Flubber. It is not a great company. And yes I got the job, just sent in the background check paperwork. I won't be happy until this job is in the rearview mirror. If you don't like it, all I can say to you is, so? I don't know you to care about you. Maybe something I learned from Uber, be cutthroat.

Just curious, OldsmarUber, how's business in Oldsmar? I have had a few pleasant riders from the Tampa Road
area and have been thinking about parking there and working the triangle: Oldsmar, WestChase, Palm Harbor.
It's been several months since my last ride... It wasnt the worse area but certainly not the best either. Judging by the look of the app at the moment, it appears pretty saturated.

Let's face it, Uber is an crappy app, which has an unbelievable marketing department.
I'm just hanging in there until a real company comes to Tampa and destroys them.

To continue:

Uber does not care if drivers make a profit, the pax are happy or even making a profit. Uber only cares about dominating world transportation.

I think the only company that will come along to destroy it, is the company YOU create yourself. Drivers have to own the app.

You been using Google translate again, über means over or above, not super.
Over. Above. and Super. It has multiple uses. All connote superiority, but to differing degrees and with various applications. Germans have the second most nuanced language, after English. Plus, these words, like uber, start creeping into use in other languages. Then they take on slightly different meanings.

I'm all for negativity, but that's going too far. Local, personal, and trusted networks can win. That's really the only hope.
Uber and Lyft have the technology, the resources and the advertising. They're getting people to drive just to get a new car. I can guarantee you that there's at least 50 drivers out there on a daily basis that do this to make the payment on that car and call it day.

English is a Germanic language after all. I can think of no examples in German where uber means super, Uber Alles, uber nacht, Uber Fuhrer, uberweg, uber bord, etc., the translation on leo.org does not include super at all.

If they are dumb enough to beat up a new car driving pax around just to pay for it, they won't be left with much once it is paid off.

Happily stand corrected on the particulars of German usage. But don't forget the latest common definition: "megalomaniacal abusive and predatory company."
