O ok cool sorryThat 9000 drivers is just Queensland!
I heard via shebah that there r 45000 drivers nation wide.I listened to a radio interview this morning from Brisbane and the spokesman and he quoted to 9000 drivers but acknowledged the number of full-time drivers is much less than that. I'm sure that is the situation in all cities!

You're right Ben, and Uber will never divulge the numbers but I reckon Brony's numbers would be near the mark!Uber are the only ones who know the true number...

Well during the court case with the ATO Uber claimed the overwhelming majority of Uber drivers earn less than 20ks a year.I listened to a radio interview this morning from Brisbane and a RDSU spokesman and he quoted to 9000 drivers but acknowledged the number of full-time drivers is much less than that. In 2020 headlines would be like:The Uber platform has created more than 9,000 jobs in Australia for ridesharing partners and Uber has committed to create 20,000 by the end of 2015 in collaboration with governments.
