This is the only forum I know where the people in the business demean others for being in the business. “Ants will do the work”. What does that mean? That people who are almost as stupid as you will do the work? Seriously, I think the whole driving labor force has PTSD.

And then there are some of us that give rides and insult others because, well just because!Well you see, there are people here who actually give rides for a living. They are insultingly called "ants." Then there are people who sit in their car for a living, complaining. They occasionally give rides, when it suits them, while laughing at everyone else.
Now with that written if a honest question is asked and I feel like helping I will and hopefully it helps all of you but I sometimes just feel like being me in my Devilish way of life!
I sleep at the airport and not worrying about some client making my backseat dirty.But what were you doing all those extra hours? Sitting in your car doing nothing? How is that productive? By your online hours you are making way less than $20/hour. What's the point?
I rather do that than take a three dollar ride and truthfully I am fine with reading, playing my Switch or just watching a movie while waiting for a ride.
As you enjoy rolling around town looking for that ride I just sit and wait like that old fisherman who tosses out his line, sits and waits for that bell to ring at the end of his pole…
Some days I clear two to three hundred and others I might clear a Buck-Fifty for the day but least I am being relaxed and enjoying life.
If I want extra I could get out and sit for Dash orders but still I am not willing to take low ball orders.
If you feel the need for that by all means do it and have fun but for me I have what I will make me roll my wheels and what will make me sit and watch a movie while waiting…
No, hating the hater make you as bad as the hater.good. It’s ok to hate the hater. 😊. Of course, anyone who thinks they are smart, who thinks they are smarter than those they call ants. who’s doing Uber, is kidding themselves. They are the dumb of dumb and dumber. You do as you want and if you need help with something there are good poster’s on here that will help you.
Also you have the ignore feature that allows you to ignore those you feel are hater’s and should give it a try… I do!
Meh, you dislike the way some converse on here and so do I but the best way for me ( not you ) is to leave the conversation and just help who need help and that is it.im joking. I don’t hate anybody.
Also the best way for me is just sitting and being patient and let me be truly honest I ain’t one to sit still but for me the airport and sitting is just fine.
I catch some sleep, watch a movie or play Skyrim while waiting, so I like what I do but that isn’t for everyone.
Now my wheels will not roll unless I am going to bank a twenty from the airport and the mileage is a dollar plus.
Now if it is a slow day I will roll out for less but not for thirty cents a mile either.
When I do Airport rides from College Station it will be to Austin or Houston because they pay is over a dollar a mile and I can grab rides out and if Hobby in Houston there is a chance for that Unicorn 🦄 ride back to College Station which result in a over two hundred dollar four hour day, so I have learned do it the way I like.
Not saying you should do it because all of us have different ways of doing it but for me this is what I do.
Same thing as I do at the airport and just relaxing while I wait for that bell to ring at the end of my pole…I'm going to let others explain it to you
if they so choose to, key points:
1. I am working two apps Uber and Lyft,
2. A few of those hours are not me in my car, some or me at home waiting for a trip from my local Shopping Center are the Metrolink which is only like two blocks down the street,
3. I am on a higher tier I can do Uber comfort and Lyft luxury,
4. I have a laptop and a big tablet which allows me to do certain things in my car that I would normally do at home,
5. I drive a 2017 Lincoln mkz, so sitting in my car is not some uncomfortable unbearable task, I have premium sound system and YouTube music and I actually do many times enjoy being in a car and being alone.

I love those guys!Yup, and then there is the sub-set of that one that does not drive at all - is not even on the platform and only uses Uber as a pax, but still come here to troll and keep you guys in line telling you the way things should be.
