Anyone a gamer and realize the unfolding events with Coronavirus are almost like those in Tom Clancy's The Division? Lab-created pathogen/virus carried by a catalyst infects people on a global scale, killing more and more as the pathogen mutates, eventually killing 2/3 of the world's population. People scrambling for supplies, world economy thrown into disarray...

As I play the latest DLC "Warlords of New York" my friends and I can't help but shutter at the thought lol

I'll tell you this much... if I'm walking to the store and all of a sudden, I see random peoples' watches glow orange simultaneously, I'm going straight home and burning my copy of The Division 🤣

Just watched "The Outbreak" in Netflix.
It's like prophecy from 1995
___
A dangerous airborne virus threatens civilization in this tense thriller. After an African monkey carrying a lethal virus is smuggled into the U.S., an outbreak occurs in a California town. To control the spread of the disease, a team of doctors is brought in that includes a contagious disease expert (Dustin Hoffman) and his ex-wife (Rene Russo). Once the Army intervenes to handle the situation, though, the doctors must fight against the clock to save the town and its residents.

I said to my mother tonight, as she was trying to talk me into driving tonight.

This is a man made pathogen. Set up perfectly. Just in time for an election.

Talk about greed, this is what people will do for “power” and “control” to lead a country. Its sick.

Talked to a rider today about what happens if the corona virus stays until closer to the election and someone tries to cancel it due to health concerns. Far fetched but conspiracy theorists may run with it. Although the passenger may have been a bit of a wack job as he also suggested that if trump looses he may take it to court and refuse to leave office

He just hopes the door don't hit him in the a$$ on the way out! Screw Ivanka, and Melania, he don't even care for them. He will wind up in jail eventually.

Except COVID-19 isn't lab created. In fact virtually all viruses are from the fact that people in areas where food is scarce are eating animals that previously haven't been ingested. Viruses that are fairly benign in other mammals and birds can be dangerous for humans because we have no history or immunity to them.

This virus (for the most part) isn't airborne. It primarily lives on surfaces. The only time it's airborne is when someone who's infected sneezes or coughs on you.

You've gotta be kidding. How many people have you heard of whose innards exploded, leaving their bodies a bag of skin around a gelatinous mass?

Now THIS was interesting. Snopes calls it "Mostly false" but get the obscure town and year right, and you're at least giving me Spock Eyebrow.

I'm not trusting anything Vox puts out lmao I may as well be reading the National Inquirer. I'm sure it was just a rumor, but Vox has made up a bunch of stuff before.

I see you guys are also quoting Snopes... which its "fact checks" have been BS plenty of times before. Snopes, Vox, Vice, Huffington Post, BuzzFeed... all BS news "sources".

I have the same opinion as you (I think) about Snopes. That's why when I linked to their article, I also stated my own opinion. They downplay the connections, and I certainly don't see them as prophecy but a fiction author using the year 2020 (about 40 years ago) and the location Wuhan (who even heard of it 6 months ago, let alone in the early 80s?) those are some remarkable coincidences.

If you'll notice, Vox is not the only source of this information. There are literally more than a dozen reputable sources.

I've now given you FIVE sources that say this rumor of bioengineering is BS. You're entitled to your own opinions, but the facts are what they are. There are literally DOZENS of sources of confirmation on that.

I find it strange that anyone can claim with 100% certainty that this is NOT a bio weapon. Nobody knows for certain its origins, or who patient zero is, but somehow everyone has all this immediate certainty that it came from a wet market-never mind that people been eating exotic meats for millennia and bioweapons have leaked before.

Here's an (highly educated, well versed, MSM-blacklisted) expert I trust in the link below. Fact is, when you have these high level BioWarfare facilities like the one in Wuhan, leakage is a potential risk. It may be intentional, it maybe accidental, but leakage is a definite risk. To say that this virus is natural (without evidence) and to dismiss other possibilities that are highly probable is illogical and closed minded.
