Saturday night was unusually good for me, as well. I'm suspicious. Sorry.
Usually, there are long waits between rides and huge queue at airport.

Perhaps more drivers are quitting than usual. The newbies that didn't do their taxes right, or the ones that felt screwed when Uber gave itself a raise and not us.. so many reasons..

I had an excellent Saturday and Sunday. Did not drive Friday. Tonight, I heard riders say fewer drivers were driving this weekend because the drivers were celebrating with the income from Gasparilla and recent Tampa events.

That's possible and UBER doesn't care because it has flooded market with drivers; but, we still can get a few fares and the riders don't see major increases in surges.

I stayed out because I had a raging toothache....
Hard to believe that just my little monkey self being out made a difference tho...
I did see the airport at 2.4 about 10:45 sat night and thought that a bit odd...
Uber on...

Yo 4 hours you just made $54 and call a good night? surging?
Life must be really cheap down south.
I wasn't boasting about the tips, not so much the fares.
Still your point is valid, driving in this market is like having 50 vultures in a cage with 3 under-fed mice.

If you like read the words and stuff he was referring to getting a lot of tips and not getting a lot of fares. I know reading comprehension is sometimes difficult, but if you practice maybe you'll get better. It is harder for some and I do have empathy for you. Maybe your home had a lot of lead paint or Mom drank through your pregnancy.

Don't they have a forum in Baltimore where below average thinkers like you can troll around in your own blissful ignorance?

Bless your heart you poor dumb bastard.

Until proven the $20 cash tip is a lie...TROLL
I agree that Heema is trolling but that doesn't mean their 20 is a lie. I've been tipped 5's, 10's, 20's and on two occasions 100's. I don't understand why it's so hard for people to believe that drivers are being tipped.

I got no reason to troll, I am basically looking at Tampa board because Im going for graduate school this fall and USF is my second option. I will be doing uber part time but now Im not sure if Tampa is going to be a good option. I dont know if this would prove that I got the tip. I could mail this $30 to you along with the pax fingertips so you can make sure they match lol. ( got another $10 two trips later)

Your are correct. Why is so hard to believe what you read on the internet? Nobody lies on the web,

WOW! Baltimore riders are good to you, plus, you get 35 cents per mile MORE than Tampa. Why not stay there, earn more, save expense of moving, and apply to Johns Hopkins, UM-Baltimore, Coppin State, Morgan State, Bowie State, or other nearby state schools to save tuition costs?
Anyway, do you get many rides from Rosedale and the docks? I have Longshoremen friends there who do not drive and take taxis everywhere, even to Philadelphia. I tried to help a wife teach one of them to use an UBER APP. We failed; and, she's a Master Teacher! (But, he makes a lot more money than she does and often works only 3-days per week! Forget grad school; become a stevedore! :)
