Hi Guys,

What is the realistic takings for the first week for a new uber driver please based on a 5 day week 8 hour day?
Not a lot but depends on several factors:
-your location
-time of day
-traffic
-how fast you can end your job
-knowlegde of area
-ability to pick up safe and drop off safe
-speed of customer...waiting for you or you for him!!!

In this job there are no realistic takings.
You can have two Monadays, same time, same place different jobs that will bring you different income.

Depends on which Uber category car you are driving, but there are a few variables that could vary the figure in either direction, the following factors influence the total amount:
1. Location
2. Demand (Surge rate or normal rate)
3. Fare Distance/Duration
4. Luck

£15 an hour Gross.

It depends on if you actually know you way around or are going to be blindly following SatNav.

The clue is SatNavs all tend to go the same way....

I remember when AddLee first got the VDO Dayton systems fitted, you would end up seeing AddLee Ulysee sitting in traffic on all the main roads. Was easy to spot who was new and who was experinced though as AddLee Open Call drivers were the best in London PH at the time.

Many AddLee OpenCall of that time are likely to be Taxi Drivers now, unless they have left the industry.

You'll do better than the BullyCabbies

At least you'll be busier than them, but your income will be three times less due to their rip off rates, and Ubers ultra low rates.
Please explain then how's that better ?
