Depends at what time it rains....

If it rains during morning peak and afternoon peak, then yes more jobs as people don't want to get wet..

You will find that more short trips are requested....potentially additional surges...

If it rains mid afternoon or early morning, then not necessarily extra jobs...

I find it a lot harder driving at night when it's raining. Very hard to see road markings sometimes. Slower drivers. More accidents. Although law enforcement seems a little less noticeable

weekends with rain, less trips as people stay home, during the week people have to work and cant stay home, therefore more trips during peak hours but less in of-peak as again more people will decide to stay home.

No RBT when it rains, health and safety issue

Thats not entirely true, ive been nabbed by rbt when rains...it depends if they have already setup before the rain...

also got fined a few years back during rain on anzac bridge...2 motorcycle cops conducting radar..speed trap...i thought the same, raining no cops..but bugger got me doing 80 in 60 anzac bridge heading towards city past the casino exits

Not sure about now but back when I started the first January was wet and it would surge when it was wet as people still had social engagements locked in but didn't want to get wet. So you had people who don't normally catch Uber suddenly making requests.

It has barely rained between 7.30-9 the last week or so. The surge hasn't been as red for as long as the last time we copped the rain. That rain was all at peak time. Excellent surges and plenty of pings. The pings have still been there before 9 but not much surge.
