I had to switch to delivery after alll I got all week were non tipping alcoholics goingTo the liquor store or girls getting abortions.

Eats is Basically dealing with incompetent restaurants. A lot of restaurant workers do not care. This Burger King did not care that I had an Uber order. They said they don’t start the order Iuntil the driver

“You Have to wait in the drive thru like everyone else”

not joking- the line looked like an hour long because it did not move in 10 minutes I was there
laughed and left

Not waiting an hour for $3. I did that at fll already

last night I waited 20 minuTes at a wawa in the hood just so they can tell ME the system is down. This is after the rude cashier tells me to wait in the uber eats area cuz the order is coming

I did it for a hour tonight and was amazing people tip on the app lol. Never knew that existed driving Uber lol made like 27 dollars for hour and didn't do many miles took the wife along she was happy I made her go in and pick it up and drop off food
I'm wondering if they're tipping because of the free delivery promotion

i messed with the Uber eats app the other day and it automatically suggests a tip when you're ordering (it even said some message like "Show your support with a tip"). of course scumbags can change it but it's similar to Lyft when a rider finished a ride, it suggests a tip and forces you to rate or tip the driver. unfortunately regular uber rides allow riders to skip the whole tip screen all together which is probably why a lot of trips don't end with tips

Nice I signed up today but just did eats haven't had a order not too yet so weird for Uber it's becausing they are asking before they place it. I even got 8 dollar tips on 3 dollar trips it's crazy
I think u will like Instacart u can see how much Instacart is paying you how much the tip is and how many miles you have to drive and where before u even accept. Oh and also how many items and what items.

I drove for like 2 hours doing delivery probably 30 miles and made $18. After that I said f it and didn't turn on eats again. DoorDash is stupid but I made like $17 on only two deliveries that I drove less than 6 miles.

Are you finding a lot of the stuff they want from insta not there? Like people wanting paper towels and such seems it would be a headache looking for everything
I don't accept orders with mostly those items. If it's on the order with a bunch of items I just refund it right away and continue with the rest of the order.
Also which stores you accept make a difference. Target was sold out of a lot of food items

That's the best way to do eats, have someone with you, no worries about parking and you have some good company

It's Actually true that's ppl are doing it.. dude ordered only dog food like a whole lot of it... I had to carry that shit and didn't care bc I was getting a good amount on the order. He also ordered a box of cereal they didn't have. Then I see this... smh
Is that Instacart? That really sucks, and Instacart really needs to stop that shit. Probably a Pool rider!

We have an Instacart delivery scheduled for Saturday. I think I'll tip in cash and then cancel the in-app tip.

Yes it's Instacart. Dude lived in one of those really big houses in las olas.. he had money.. just wanted someone to pick up the order.. and keep his money.. I swear ppl are jerks!

Cash is much better bc the app doesn't let shoppers cash out their tips instantly.

Thanks, this is our first use of Instacart, so I'm not familiar with it. I just saw some red flags from my experience with Uber.

We'll tip in cash -- and it will be the amount shown or more, regardless of what the final Publix bill is.
