Just in the process of signing up for Uber.

Just waiting one the passenger license code thing, and asked uber support if I could do Uber Eats in the meantime as I would not be transporting passengers.

The response was "I'd have to sign up for uber Eats from scratch."

Is itpossible to just switch from Uber X to Uber Eats throughout your day as you wish. Is this not the case? Are there seperate application procedures?

It's a simple app request to add uber Eats

then you can switch x on or eats on or either off on

I came from a pure Eats account to an Uber X / Eats account not long ago. The key points I remember were (1) You need to specify that you want a dual function account to the support team and (2) you must have a car (can't be scooter/motorbike or bicycle) as only one vehicle allowed on the account. Based on feedback from those who have been intrepid enough to try Eats as an X, they are very low on the priority list compared to dedicated motorbike/scooter or even PUSHBIKES guys.... i.e. the algorithm will offer you the order last
