I was under the impression that we as drivers didn't get surge pricing on the flat rate rides to the airport from downtown/French Quarter/etc...

This morning I got a ride from Canal/Royal with a 3.0 surge and sure enough, the earnings tab is showing me a payout with the surge. Is that correct?

If so, great! If not, I'll leave it up to the pax to request the fare assessment.

You CAN receive surge pricing on a trip to the airport. There is no surge when picking up from the airport. You fair is correct! Enjoy it!

I've gotten over $100.00 surge on airport trip. Stacked ping,no idea it was surging. Didn't even know until after I dropped them off.
I felt bad for those people.

I got one of those on Mardi Gras day! Mine is a bit more because I'm grandfathered in at the 80/20 driver rate.

I needed to take an Uber from the auto repair shop back to my house and my Uber driver was asking me if she should work New Orleans. I showed her this pic. She got so excited. I'll make sure every Uber driver in Baton Rouge sees this so they know they can always go to New Orleans to make real money!

Yeah, but since Uber Dude Nola says there is plenty of money to be made in New Orleans and I'm pretty sure he'd be excited if Uber added another 1500 drivers to the force.
