I’m starting to think this 1.6x cap is gonna be permanent. Also what I find interesting are the differences in Uber quote on non surge rides for the exact same route. I set MCO as a drop off from my house and the quote changes from $25 to $36 throughout the day without any surges. You guys try it out and see for yourself.

Complaining won't help, eitherCome on guys, complain to Uber to remove the 1.6X cap. Doing nothing won't help

I'm pretty sure it has to do with state of emergency the governor placed on all of Florida last week/week before because of the tropical storm.I'm starting to think this 1.6x cap is gonna be permanent.
I do not remember the specifics but it has something to do with anti-price gouging laws. I believe the cap will be in effect for 30 days...
