Big difference between net and gross income. Just pointing out both sides can have skewed numbers and the truth is somewhere in the middle. I drive selective hours (20-30/wk) and avg $600 or $20-30hr on uberX. And just a heads up depending on electricity costs, my cmax energi gets the first 27 miles at about $ .01/mile and .06/mile on gas thereafter. It is almost nothing. Even considering other expenses, you should get one if you partake in rideshare.
