Back then the paxholes didn't complain.They were just glad to get a ride.
Enough people to keep us 20% Ants who own our own vehicles happy. Then PJM and Splend came along with Mbappes and Randeeps to kill Surge, Uber needed more money so 25% commission, then Uber needed to feed the new ice ants so rates became $1 per km and ATO had the GST ruling. The rest is history.

The rate is about $1.45 average per km right now (for X) after you add the time component.
$1.70 p/km Ola
$1.73 p/km Didi
I give Uber priority only around surge times, 40+, or destination filter or if there are no other pings for more than 15 minutes.
