Any guesses what time the surge might start on Wednesday? Asking for a friend. ??
It is very confusing why they are trying to strike? Is it to ruin the IPO? Good luck!Yea I don't get why everyone is wanting to "strike" when we are independent contractors. We have the freedom to work when we want. And if we don't work that day or hour or whatever there will always be someone else who will work.
The strikes may be getting some attention in the news but it won't affect Uber in anyway. If they have a few less drivers they will surge it a little to get more drivers out there. Now if something like 1/4 to 1/3 of all drivers who would have worked that day striked then that might get Ubers attention.
You have a better chance of seeing Moses climb down from Mt. Charleston than seeing a surge this Wednesday.Any guesses what time the surge might start on Wednesday? Asking for a friend. ??

If it restores us back to true 75/25 split I'll repent for everything?Repent and you too shall be saved
Great idea.I'm tired from driving this weekend. So I will do you all a favor and go on a 3 day strike. Enjoy my crumbs fellow ants. Go chase that "surge" this week :roflmao:
I asked a bunch of drivers if they're going to strike on May 8 and most gave the same answer, "¿Qué?"Asking 10 different drivers seems to give you 10 different answers.
I remember in early 2014 in San Diego it was 80/20 and changed to 75/25 two weeks after I signed up. Damn near 50/50 now if not less / more in some cases. If it restores us back to true 75/25 split I'll repent for everything?
