Thought this was obvious. I'd rather pax think I'm broke, driving for base rates and still get tips and surges as opposed to them thinking I'm generating above national average income...

Oh I had a pax recently who met Mr. $2000 a week. Except he's apparently working in the IE. :/

I make $4 an hour + tips, just like waiters and waitresses. No tip means I have no income. I don't know if I can do this longer since McDonalds can offer me a better pay. If you like the service that I provided, I would appreciate a tip.

Funny i had pax going to to monterey. He was telling me he met some fuber drivers making bank up there. He said the money is so good that a professor is looking to quit his job and do fuber fulltime. He said another one he met moved from minneapolis to Monterey cuz the money so good.

Then i was thinking maybe i should move to monterey too. So i asked him how much they make? He said they make $1K per month. $1K

Recruiting drivers is a cardinal sin. I want to knock out the guy who recruited me into the sorid world of Uber....

Those drivers who drop the 2k number conveniently forget to mention how many hours they put in and their other expenses...

At best Uber is great money today but the cost to your car and dignity is paid in the future

I mean it is not impossible. We did have a guy (personal trainer) recently who was driving some crazy amount of hours and making close to 2k a week.

I tell them straight up, at best it's a $10 an hr job here. You have goto LA or OC and work the surge rates there to make any money. And to get my 5 Star I say,.... I would not want to wish that upon you.
