Nobody is making you continue doing it. Get a part time job somewhere and Uber to make extra cash. You know, like the rest of us. Continuing to drive full time while still receiving crap pay makes as much sense as continuing to work at Mcdonalds instead of moving on to the next phase of life. If you think working at either is enough to get an apartment, save up for retirement, buy a home or pay for college, you're kidding yourself. You are putting YOURSELF into an eternal funk by doing nothing but *****ing about the situation. Be proactive, get up off your a** and look for something better. There are plenty of opportunities out there. Okay moderators, go ahead and delete this "tough love" thread that some of the people here really need to read. So sick of all the complaining

People complaining about their job will always be a thing. Bottom line is no one likes to work and only a very small percentage actually enjoy their job whether it be rideshare or something else. Our society is full of complainers.

You realize that the part timers are getting screwed as well, right?
Everybody is getting screwed. Part-timers Uber for extra money though and don't really have to drive. Ideally, I would like to see nothing but part time drivers, but Uber knows that people out there are either lazy, desperate or unemployable and that is their bread and butter. This post is primarily meant to light a fire under the former two. Can't really do anything for the unemployable ones though.

I think it's like the circle of life....veteran people complaining now....in the future the noobs will complaining when they go from 65 cents a mile to 50 cents. Who knows, in the future, we might be charged to use the app....lol

One thing I give credit to both Lyft and Uber....without a cap of driver's in a market, if money was so high and so easy to make, there'd be 100 drivers in every square mile and zero pings (some markets that way now). So basically why not keep a revolving door of drivers and TAKE Take take all you can.

This post is tough to read for some but doesn't change the facts.

Constantly complaining after drinking the koolaide & discovering U/L are slimeballs but still doing it for whatever reason is a....C-H-O-I-C-E.

A real job is the answer if possible because slimeballs don't have a conscience.

So what your saying is, I shouldnt strike on wednesday to teach big bad Uber a lesson??? :smiles:

Solid Post @corniilius , you have earned your lobster for today.
No, strike by all means. Hit them where it hurts. I'm pondering using a vacation day to protest in person. I do this for extra money, but I want as much as I can get. Demand higher rates. That there will be lobster. Lobster for everybody! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!
